Financial Controller

Can you bring an innovative eye to our financial department? Your role will be to ensure that leadership is made aware of impactful business decisions and opportunities, while providing insightful analysis and recommendations. We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including financial controlling and reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Financial Controller will work from our office in Prague - Boudníkova, in Ostrava or in Bratislava-Malacky.

What you would do as our Financial Controller

• Support a business unit leader and all departments (mainly sales), providing actionable analysis and driving strong controllership and business partnership
• Preliminary control of the company's costs, revenues and cash flows, including optimization proposals/tracking
• Financial reporting according to international standards
• Manage the process of Annual Budgeting & ad-hoc Forecasting
• Monthly cash-flow forecast preparation
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop and document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans

• Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Dept management and collections
• Assessment of payment terms of commercial contracts
• Elaboration of repayment calendars, credits, financial agreements, documents for penalties
• Support the year-end financial audit and tax returns process in close cooperation with Chief Accountant

The skills and experiences you need

• Strong orientation towards modern controlling tools, financial modelling & automation
• Exceptional business-numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• English – B2, Czech – native speaker
• MS Office (emphasis on Excel) - expert
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Master's Degree in Finance
• 3+ years of proven working experience as a Financial Controller
