What you would do as our Compliance Specialist East Europe

You would be responsible for managing the Trade compliance matters (domestic, international, sale, procurement) within the region, in coordination with the Legal Counsel East Europe (who acts as the overall owner of the program in the region and to whom you will report).

You would also: 

• Support the Legal Counsel East Europe, coordinate with him, and utilize the network of other Export Control professionals.
• Deliver Trade Compliance classification training to the employees in the region and promote a positive compliance culture and awareness throughout the organization.
• Drive the products classification processes together with product management, co-ordinate, and manage ad-hoc Trade compliance related projects and tasks.
• Run the counterparty screenings against sanctions lists and reviewing sanctions screening results .

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Is proactive with hands-on approach, willing to broaden practice in the compliance area.
• Has a bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management and previous experience with compliances.  
• Is fluent in English and comfortable in holding presentations before small and big audiences. Other language skills from East Europe are a plus.
• You have a good understanding of European Union and foreign import/export regulations, and at least a basic knowledge of the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
