We are seeking an experienced electronics designer who would help expand the electronic hardware design excellence in our Prague location. This is a unique opportunity to show your technical, development and leadership skills as you will be responsible for design and development sensing methods. Your strong technical foundations and electronics development expertise helps get the device throughout the whole design life. Your passion will be rewarded by the opportunity to see your design being produced in volumes and used around the globe.

 

 

As our Team Leader Hardware Engineering, you’ll support success by:

 

  • Leading electronics design from concepts through prototypes to series production. Focusing on capacitive sensors for fingerprint scanning fingerprint, face, or iris recognition
  • Defining the electronics design concept, capturing schematics and layout PCB (hands-on or through leading others)
  • Performing and leading worst-case analysis and calculations
  • Making yourself excited about the initial bring-up, debug and test, lead design update sessions
  • Overseeing technical subjects’ synergy and liaising with other teams (mechanics, thermals, software, manufacturing), observe and contrib
  • Presenting results and achievements, liaise with the Customer on technical matters
  • Mentoring younger colleagues, leading intra-company technical trainings
  • Developing multidisciplinary team of designers in areas of electronics, optics and mechanics
  • Cooperating on strategic decisions and defining best electronic design practices

 

 

Your Experience and Education includes:

 

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields
  • 3+ years in electronics design team technical leadership
  • Strong design experience in fields of digital, analog and mixed signal, high speed signaling and communications
  • Development with focus on reliability, manufacturability and EMC
  • Experience with the whole electronics design lifecycle from concept to production
  • Working experience with E-CAD, preferably Altium Designer
  • Previous experience with project planning and requirements management
  • Strong communication skills, fluent English written and spoken
  • Design/development team leadership abilities and good team spirit promotion
