About the role

We currently looking for Expressions of Interests (EOI) for multiple Production Team Members vacancies for our Spence Doors business, based in Cheltenham. Key responsibility involves completing all work assigned to you by a nominated Leading hand/supervisor within reasonable timeframes and to a high standard using the established standard manufacturing procedures and safe operating procedures. We are looking for people who have an interest in working with timber who enjoy hands on work. No experience is necessary in this role, as full training will be provided.

 

Main work areas include:

Cladding – metal door skins and trims, laminates, acrovyn

Press – glueing and pressing of door skins to assembled frames/cores

Finishing benches – painting, sanding , final preparation, vision panel and vent installation

 

Hours of work:

7am-3.30pm Mon-Thur, 7am-12.30pm Fri  (37.5 hour week)

 

About you

  • Able to work to business Safety and Quality standards.
  • Cost, achieving shift targets and KPI’s (key performance indicators)
  • Customer Service, meeting ECD’s (expected completion dates)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good written and numeracy skills, high attention to detail.
  • Understanding work flow and material consumption/waste.
