Junior Technical Sales Representative - Eastern Cape

     

 

Purpose Of The Role

 

Responsible for selling FSK and IDS products and meeting customer needs. Maintaining existing customer relationships. Growing sales within your allocated area or region.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES 

 

FSK and IDS Sales

  •  Maximising sales and growing market share by presenting and selling the company’s range of products, solutions and services.
  • Ensuring that personal sales targets are met /exceeded.
  • Ongoing canvassing for sales prospects and identification of new customers.
  • Generating accurate quotations consistent with customer requirements.
  • Speedy closure of deals.
  • Ensuring customer needs are consistently understood and expectations met and managed.
  • Ensuring compliance with pricing and discount structures.
  • Working in conjunction with technical support/product specialists when appropriate.
  • Attending all sales meetings and related training.
  • Maintaining an up–to-date calendar.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction & sound customer relationships.
  • Maintaining demonstration equipment in safe and good order.
  • Providing product demonstrations and assisting with marketing initiatives as required.
  • Providing product training when appropriate.

 

FSK and IDS Technical Support

  • Ensuring that the product or solution offered meets the customer’s requirement.
  • Providing first line technical support and where necessary, facilitate advanced support from the technical department.

 

FSK and IDS Market analysis

  • Gathering and analyzing market information and preparing related reports.

 

FSK and IDS Report generation

  • Generating reports as per GM/Sales Manager requirements.
  • Preparing periodic reports on market developments and business / sales opportunities.
  • Preparing and timeously submitting activity/call reports as required.

 

FSK and IDS Customer Relations

  • Customer Engagement: Engage continuously with customers to understand their needs, deliver personalized service, and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers by interpreting and effectively managing their requirements, ensuring a tailored approach to their business needs.
  • Product Awareness: Keep customers well-informed about existing products, as well as new products that are ready to be launched to the market.
  • Data Management: Ensure all customer details are accurate, up-to-date, and entered into the company’s sales database to support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the creation and completion of contracts between the sales team and customers, ensuring all agreements are accurate, complete, and fit for purpose.

 

FSK and IDS Process Optimization

  • Actively contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in sales processes, prioritizing customer value and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the accuracy, correctness, and completeness of all sales-related documentation.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Grade 12
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable personal vehicle

 

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES 

  • Proven Track Record in Sales.
  • 2 years’ experience in the electronics sector preferable
  • Technically capable in respect of electronic security products preferable
  • Computer Literate
  • Be presentable (professional, neat & tidy).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Confident, assertive, proactive and target-driven
  • Credible and able to network at any level
  • Customer Service Focused
