National Sales Manager – Construction

Following our recent acquisition by ASSA ABLOY and continued success in the US market, Biosite is expanding into new geographies and is recruiting for a National Sales Manager for the US.

Biosite provides technology-enabled solutions designed to optimize operational efficiency, improve health and safety, and ensure compliance for construction projects. Our purpose is to support the digital transformation of the construction industry by developing innovative technology and software solutions that give customers peace of mind and control over their sites.

Job Summary

Reporting to the VP and Head of Americas – Construction, the National Sales Manager will lead and grow both internal and external sales teams, driving revenue growth and market penetration. This role will also focus on initiating and building strategic relationships with national accounts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

The successful candidate will:
- Develop and execute national sales strategies.
- Manage and mentor sales teams to achieve targets.
- Provide market intelligence to the Product Manager.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Identify and execute opportunities for trade shows and promotional activities.

This is a field-based role, requiring travel for meetings, training, trade shows, and presentations (approximately 30%).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

(50%) Sales Leadership

Recruit, develop, and manage internal and external sales teams. Set clear performance goals and provide coaching for success. Align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

(30%) National Account Development

Initiate and nurture relationships with key national accounts. Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements. Deliver monthly business reviews and strategic updates.

(10%) Market Intelligence & Strategy

Gather and share market insights with Product Management. Track competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly. Identify growth opportunities and recommend new initiatives.

(10%) Public Engagement & Events

Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions. Deliver presentations and speak publicly to promote brand awareness. Plan and execute trade shows and promotional campaigns.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record in managing multi-level sales organizations.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking and event representation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable.

Work Environment

- Remote role;
- Travel required (approx. 30%).
