As the JR Financial Analyst, you will be a highly valued business partner, working with business & financial analysis, business processes, collaborating on projects, and driving the business while also ensuring stable and compliant processes are met from a finance perspective. You will be working in a global organization that is dynamic and fast-paced, with many possibilities to make a difference and add value. As JR Financial Analyst, you will report to the Director of FP&A.

 

What you will do…

The JR Financial Analyst oversees all financial planning, analysis and reporting tasks related to the operating entity for Hospitality. The candidate will model, analyze, and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business with a clear ability to create insightful analysis. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Taking ownership of Americas P&L, including monitoring gross margin and EBIT while supplying supporting commentary on any variance against forecast.
  • Work closely with the Director of FP&A with forecasting, performance, and profitability.
  • Produce monthly financial management report showing key variances and performance highlights.
  • Communicate financial metrics in a coherent manner to other departments outside of finance.  
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate analytics to management to facilitate decision-making objectives.
  • Develop high-quality Excel-based financial models and other ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making.
  • Drive the Weekly sales forecast, quarterly forecasting, and yearly financial planning for all business units by analyzing its performance and risks.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives or projects related to business unit objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and guidelines

 

What we expect of you…

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial accounting with strong previous exposure to P&L’s and monthly performance reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Excel & PowerPoint skills. Knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP HANA, HFM is a plus.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BS/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus, but not required.
  • 10-20% domestic and international travel is required.

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience
