TITLE: Data Management Sr. Specialist

REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager, Recurring Revenue
JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Management Sr. Specialist is a detail-oriented and analytical role that supports our Licensed SaaS and Support Contract management operations in the Recurring Revenue department. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate data management within our legacy and new CRM systems, including data migration, product set up, price management, annual billing validation, and customer contract updates. This role will also own data integrity and reporting accuracy critical to our monthly SaaS metrics, including churn, net revenue retention, and monthly recurring revenue KPIs.
The ideal candidate can combine financial accuracy with operational insight, bringing both rigor and clarity to our billing processes and business performance, and possesses a strong understanding of how data is entered and interpreted by systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple enterprise systems into structured, actionable formats for reporting and decision-making.
· Maintain data models that support recurring revenue analysis, contract lifecycle tracking, and KPI reporting
· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across CRM, ERP, and billing systems
· Manage data migration activities between legacy and current platforms, ensuring minimal data loss and validation of migrated datasets
· Configure and maintain product catalogs, pricing structures, and billing schedules within enterprise systems
· Work collaboratively across the organization to provide customer research assistance for contract agreements and invoicing
· Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and implement automation or process improvements
Technical Competencies
· Experience with enterprise ERP systems, specifically SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX and familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics CRM.
· Proficient in data extraction and manipulation in Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query, etc), and/or data integration tools
· Ability to structure raw data into strategic formats for analytics, forecasting, and operational decision-making
· Experience building reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
· Strong understanding of SaaS business models and metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, NRR)
· Knowledge of financial data validation, billing systems, and revenue recognition principles
· Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and audit controls
· Ability to work with large datasets and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, related field required or experience equivalent.
· 3-5 years’ experience in data operations for finance or SaaS industry.
· Strong knowledge of SaaS billing practices and revenue recognition standards.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced proficiency with MS Excel or Smartsheets and comfortable working with data across multiple systems.
· Experience with SAP and CRM/CS tools (Salesforce, SAP, HubSpot, etc.).
· Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
