As a Software Training Specialist, you'll become an expert in our software solutions and play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experiences of our clients and internal teams. You will also assist the Training and Implementation Specialist in ensuring a smooth transition from training to implementation, supporting both training and client onboarding processes.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Master ASSA ABLOY software solutions and apply them within real-world door and hardware workflows.
  • Partner with clients to understand operational processes, industry challenges, and technology needs.
  • Develop and deliver tailored training plans aligned with customer use cases and industry best practices.
  • Lead training sessions for individuals or groups, both in person and virtually. 
  • Create, update, and refine training materials in collaboration with the Training Manager.
  • Identify and implement innovative training tools and delivery methods to improve engagement.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Provide meaningful feedback from training sessions to product, development, and training leadership.
  • Support the transition from training to implementation in partnership with the Training and Implementation Specialist.
  • Gather and analyze post-training feedback to enhance onboarding and rollout processes.
  • Contribute to the development of new training content aligned with evolving software updates.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve training quality, relevance, and impact.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Knowledge of the Door and Hardware industry is required.
  • Hands-on experience with door systems, hardware, access control, or related industry workflows.
  • Experience in training, customer support, education, or instructional roles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and facilitation skills.
  • Comfort using audiovisual tools, presentation software, and training platforms.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, training software, and scheduling/calendar tools.
  • Project Management experience or certifications are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for customer training engagements as needed.
