Project Manager

 

Assa Abloy EMS in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager to support the EMS Group for significant meetings, events and supporting the Project Management Department to execute project management duties. We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in project coordination to lead the planning and execution of a wide range of employer of choice events; from high-impact corporate conferences to cross-functional team meetings, this role requires a proactive multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple priorities with grace and precision.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:

 

  • Design, plan, and execute events of varying scale and complexity, including internal meetings, client-facing events, trade shows, and executive offsites.
  • Develop detailed event project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Project ownership to include budgeting, resource allocation, sub-contractor management and event facilitation (as needed).
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, vendor management, catering, A/V setup, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and accountability throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Track milestones, manage risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Flexibility, working on weekends and evenings.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. 

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in project management and/or event management (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

 

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with event management software and project management tools.

 

This position is in-office in Phoenix, AZ.
