Product Marketing Manager, Openings Studio

Are you a strategic and innovative product marketing manager with a passion for
collaboration? ASSA ABLOY is seeking an enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager to lead the global marketing vision and strategy for our software solution Openings Studio™. Reporting to the Global Director, Head of BIM Technologies, this highly visible role will drive successful implementation of our openings information management software solution, which was designed for specification writers, architects, contractors, owners and more. This role will be responsible for managing a building a professional product marketing discipline that is the center of competency for market knowledge, sizing, customer profiles, and market priorities. This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and must be available to work onsite upon the opening of our new office facility.

 

You will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Align product focus and strategy to deliver marketing three-five year strategy and
    roadmaps that outline current and future customer journeys to offer enhanced
    value.
  • Develop clear and concise value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
    Research and evaluate customer markets, market conditions, and competitor data to define new product/marketing opportunities.
  • Partner closely with product management to develop product strategy and
    influence product roadmap
  • Create timely content detailing new software features for both internal and
    external audiences.
  • Review new and emerging technologies and keeping the brand at the forefront of
    developments in the digital marketing space.
  • Work with divisional contacts to create and design ongoing BIM-related marketing materials related to, but not limited to, social media, collateral, white papers, industry blogs, target markets, brand/product positioning, competitive
    comparisons, presentations, training, pricing, and campaigns.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for e-mail communications and web updates
    aimed at architectural, contractor, owner and facility management users, which
    can be tailored to meet the needs of our global customer base.
  • Analyze analytics, define metrics that correspond to pricing, promotion, and
    development strategies.

     

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelors’ degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business management,
    public relations, or related area.
  • 5-8 years of product marketing or program management experience.
  • Strong understanding of current digital and social marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead presentations.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of content management systems such as AEM, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress or similar.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%.
     

What makes you stand out?
 

  • Experience with architectural and construction industry and project design and delivery processes, or Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related software tools within the AEC industry.
  • Proficiency in additional languages other than English (e.g. Spanish).
