President, Electromechanical Specialties Group (EMS)
The Commercial Segment of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas is seeking an experienced and energetic senior level executive to lead the Electromechanical Specialties Group (EMS) in Phoenix, AZ. This role will report to the SVP and Head of Commercial Segment.
Job responsibilities include:
- Full P&L ownership, with expectations to improve results year over year despite market conditions. Provide overall strategic leadership to the businesses in the group.
- Own all new product development activities with the goal to achieve a minimum of 25% of top line sales coming from new or improved products each year.
- Drive and achieve growth, both organic and thru acquisitions.
- Accelerate the pace of innovation within all business units.
- Work very collaboratively with Door Security Solutions sales organization to develop and implement new sales promotion plans, marketing communications and market share growth plans.
- Develop close working relationships with all the key customers and strategic accounts.
- Own all product management activities within the Electromechanical and High Security areas.
- Responsible for all product pricing, timing of price increases and sales quotes.
- Drive continuous improvement in lean operations, automation, VA/VE, seamless flow and raw material savings.
- Work closely with the other group Presidents to leverage synergy opportunities.
Qualifications:
A degreed professional with a proven record of achieving markedly improved results in roles
with increasingly broader responsibilities, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Demonstrated success meeting financial, operational, and commercial objectives. Strong interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for talent. The ability to travel 30%. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas throughout all levels of the organization. Executive presence and excellent presentation skills.
