We are expanding our Technology team and adding a Manufacturing Technology Analyst III to our Group. This position will be based on-site out of one of the Door Group's regional manufacturing facilities located in either Ceres, California or Phoenix, Arizona or Ontario, California.

What would you do as our Manufacturing Technology Analyst III?
You will be instrumental in carrying out the Manufacturing Technology mission and assisting management to make informed business decisions from both functional and technical perspectives.
You would also:
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and information technology teams to promote effective communication, knowledge sharing, and integration of new technologies into existing manufacturing processes.
- Identify process improvement and cost-saving opportunities through innovative solutions, advanced technologies, and standardization.
- Evaluate, select, and implement advanced shop floor technologies and equipment integrations to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Identify technical project requirements and actively participate in MES solution quoting, evaluation, and selection processes.
- Coordinate project tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure the successful implementation of manufacturing technology projects.
- Provide technical training and development to manufacturing teams as necessary.
- Provide MES solutions and support for assigned manufacturing sites and service centers.
- Interact with suppliers on MES projects to ensure expectations are understood and requirements are satisfied to support manufacturing strategies.
- Ensure MES solutions follow standards while maximizing performance and stability and controlling costs and complexity.
- Enforce change control procedures and maintain technical documentation for MES tasks.
- Stay abreast of manufacturing technology trends and advancements through training and networking opportunities to bring innovative ideas to the Manufacturing Technology Team.
- Make effective and efficient use of time and resources to get things done.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand problems, facilitate discussions, pose solutions, and/or surface alternatives.
- Perform moderate physical activity including but not limited to significant time spent on the manufacturing floor.
- Be available for on-call and shift work as necessary.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations, and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Undergraduate Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 10 years combined experience with Manufacturing & Execution Systems, Industry 4.0 principles, and the practical application of Industrial IoT, Edge Computing, Cyber Physical Systems and SCADA systems, including architecture design, configuration, and support.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, working with Information Technology, Engineering, or Quality teams in a business production environment.
- Self-starter with high energy and a passion for manufacturing technology.
- Extensive product knowledge in the configuration of manufactured doors and/or frames.
- Proficient in SQL queries, data mining, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Working knowledge of C#, Java, or other programming languages would be a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Professional experience with controls systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, and other manufacturing shop floor machine technologies would be a plus.
- Understanding of how peripherals such as barcode scanners and vision systems hardware work and shall be used in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, quality management, bill of material management, work order process flow, and maintenance systems.
- Lean green belt and other continuous improvement experience would be a plus.
- Exposure to DSI dcLINK data collection, Gentran EDI Software, SAP Business Objects, Docpath / JetForms forms printing, imaging systems (TransformAP), and credit card collection systesm.
- Good project management skills with the ability to multitask while following the rules and standards established by the organization.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a simplistic way while creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Good people skills with the ability to build trust and camaraderie with diverse user base, colleagues & stakeholders.
- Passport required. Ability to travel, as needed using all forms of travel in Canada, US, and Mexico.
