Assembler, Electromechanical (1st of 2nd Shift)

Hiring for both first shift (5:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday + Half day Saturday) and second shift (3:00pm-12:30am Monday-Friday, $1/hour shift premium)

 

The Assembler Builds variable electromechanical products and subassemblies.

Starting at $15.00/hour

Bonus potential up to $750 in first 90 days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine daily production requirements from Business Unit Manager, Production Team Leader and/or work orders.

  • Receive daily build requirements through work orders.

  • Assemble quantities and configurations to meet production needs; use correct assembly procedures in a teamwork environment.

  • Inspect components for fit and finish prior to assembly and inform Business Unit Manager and/or Production Team Leader of any issues.

  • Test each unit for functionality and acceptability.

  • Apply labels and move parts to Quality Control area; report end of day quantity build to Business Unit Manager and/or Production Team Lead.

  • Assist Business Unit Manager and Production Team Lead, as necessary, to meet production goals.

  • Conform with the organizations ISO 9001 & 14001 requirements

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);  one to three months related experience in a factory or manufacturing environment preferred and/or training
