Market Developer

 

Jerith Manufacturing, part of the Assa Abloy Perimeter Security Group, an industry leader in aluminum

and high security fencing products, is looking for an individual to cover New Jersey, Pennsylvania,

Virginia, and Delaware. This professional will make sales calls to industry leaders, including

distribution channel partners, fencing contractors, project managers, and architects, as well as other

entities that are engaged in the perimeter security industry.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Ability to build relationships with customers within the assigned territory to meet and or exceed the organizational goals of Jerith.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with the inside sales team and managers.
  • Continually update customer profiles within CRM Software
  • Understand each customer's business model and geographical coverage
  • Track top fence contractors by classification and market segment.
  • Execute “product presentations” to architects and specifiers who are relevant to the industry.
  • Professionally supports local distribution partners.
  • Address customer problems/issues in a professional and timely manner with integrity.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 30% overnight, and to industry events and corporate meetings as needed. (< 10% annually)

 

The skills and experience you need:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant outside sales experience.

Experience:

  • Successful outside sales and territory management experience.
  • Experience in calling on distributors, contractors, and contractors.
  • Comfortable calling on jobsites and construction projects.

Other:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and be able to work in the USA.
