Jerith Manufacturing, LLC an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Manager,Shipping & Warehouse. This individual will maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. 

What you will be doing:

Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security/fire marshal requirements/insurance compliance procedures and protocols.

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Monitors and controls On-time and In-full shipment metrics

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

The skills and experience you need:

• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or Accounting

Proven Work experience as a Warehouse/Shipping Manager

Expertise in the warehouse management procedures and best practices 

<li 335552541="" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-level="1" data-aria-posinset="4" data-font="Symbol" data-leveltext="" data-list-defn-props="{">

Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives (Preferably Lean Six Sigma)

Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs

Hands on experience with warehouse management software, databases and ERP (Preferably JDE or Oracle)

Excellent communication skills
