ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US, Inc. is actively recruiting for an on site technical minded Sales Support Engineer to work in Peachtree City, Georgia where we specialize in Hangar and Large Application Doors (HLAD).

Summary:

This role is responsible for coordinating technical sales requests and support to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability. The Sales Engineer bridges the gap between customer needs, product capabilities, and internal Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to provide technically sound solutions and seamless customer experience. Responsibilities include preparing technical proposal, developing and reviewing technical drawings, supporting Sales-related configurations and solutions, and facilitating clear communication between departments. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to understand technical requirements and facility needs.

• Provide technical expertise to support Sales.

• Support technical presentations, proposals, and RFPs.

• Design and document sales solutions and configurations.

• Create and interpret technical drawings using AutoCAD (2D and limited 3D).

• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams.

• Assist with order handoff and technical documentation.

• Maintain technical documentation using Microsoft and Adobe tools.

• Educate internal teams on products and updates.

 

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

• Experience in sales support or engineering roles.

• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe proficiency.

• Ability to read technical and architectural drawings.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Work Environment:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, occasional remote work.
