Summary

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain & Planning Manager to lead and manage planning activities across Bio BA Commercial and Public sectors. This role includes supervisory responsibilities, collaboration with plant managers, and active engagement with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.

The ideal candidate will also serve as a key Oracle resource, supporting system transactions and testing, and will work closely with the NPI team to manage procurement processes.

 

 

As our Manager, Supply Chain and Planning, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Lead and oversee planning activities for Commercial and Public sectors, including supervision of existing planners.
  • Collaborate with local plant managers to optimize planning and inventory control processes.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle systems, resolving transactional issues and supporting UAT testing.
  • Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to issue and manage POs related to new product launches.
  • Continuously improving planning processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in planning, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procurement processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across departments and with diverse teams.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in planning, data management, and reporting.
  • Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.

 

Language Skills                  

  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in international business environments.

 

Customer Expectations

  • Must have a desire to provide the customer with high quality products, on time, every time.
  • Understand and actively demonstrate the principles of HID Global customer centricity policy.
