Production Operator

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team. This hands-on role supports advanced manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, warehousing, and logistics operations, ensuring products are produced, tested, handled, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is based in Wetherill Park, New South Wales.
What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, and repair activities in line with operational requirements.
- Manufacture, modify, troubleshoot, and test products across multiple product lines and operational areas.
- Operate tools, equipment, machinery, and systems safely and effectively.
- Support production schedules and customer delivery commitments through accurate and timely execution of work.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including stock movements, cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory investigations.
- Complete production, inventory, testing, and quality transactions using company systems.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and operational information.
- Provide technical support and assist in resolving manufacturing, quality, and operational issues.
- Support the implementation of new products, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share technical knowledge and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, warehousing, logistics, or a related operational environment.
- Demonstrated technical capability across multiple products, processes, or operational areas.
- Experience in troubleshooting, fault-finding, testing, commissioning, or product repair activities.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, and operational documentation.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve operational and technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic computer skills and experience using operational systems.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Relevant trade qualification, licence, or certification where required.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Electrical trade qualification or electrical licence.
- First Aid qualification.
- Mechanical, fabrication, or manufacturing trade background.
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and fault-finding activities.
- Experience using ERP, manufacturing, or warehouse management systems.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft 365 applications.
- Previous experience in inventory control, logistics, and material management activities.
