Responsible for the direct support of the customer including trainings, support calls and documentation.  Manage Application as it communicates to clients, and other devices via network and ZigBee

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a very high level of customer service and professionalism at all times to customers internal and external 
  • Serve as a go to technical and hardware resource representing the AAGS team for any mission critical installation and training resolution needs 
  • Provide hardware and software solutions to solve potential customer access control scenarios 
  • Support different customer departments based on their unique needs and requirements
  • Conduct/provide RF survey feedback & resolve issues as needed.
  • Commit to achieve departmental goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis 
  • Must respond quickly to the emergency situations in order to meet the needs of customers and contractors 
  • Project a favorable image of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions when interfacing with the outside community and fellow co-workers 
  • Perform trainings as requested by the customer.
  • Document and escalate issues to the proper teams.

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 

  • On site support required.
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Must be able to make educated decisions on the behalf of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions 
  • Hospitality experience is preferred but not required 
  • Familiarity with SQL database
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills is imperative 
  • Must possess excellent mathematical and organizational skills 
  • Must have an eye for detail  
  • Required to perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently 
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures 
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of contracted and/or project related resources 
  • Must possess a positive can do attitude 
  • Daily attendance and punctuality is required for this position 
  • Experience and familiarity with electronic locks and access control solutions is preferred but not required

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and its role in managing enterprise environments 
  • Understand basic server/client relationship 
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, iOS, and Android platforms 
  • DHCP and DNS in determining network identities 
  • Understanding of network security protocols 
  • Understanding of wireless signal and RF networks
