Our regional manufacturing facility or Service Center located in Ontario, California is looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to the Team!

What would you do as our Warehouse Supervisor?

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse staff supervision. The ideal candidate will ensure that the product is properly received, stored and shipped in a timely manner to meet customer demands while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

 

You would also:

  • Assist in setting and obtaining strategic goals and objectives for the department.
  • Manage orders for picking and loading.
  • Be responsible for shipping and receiving personnel.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by executing the periodic cycle count process.
  • Oversee the storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers ensuring a smooth and consistent operation.
  • Coordinate orders to meet loading and delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with the finance team on executing the year-end physical inventory.
  • Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts.
  • Manage rack space and ensure rack safety through regular inspections.
  • Coordinate daily with the Customer Service Representatives.
  • Provide direction and training to team members as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned by management

 

 

The Skills and Experience you need

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Preferred experience with forklift operation and warehousing practices.
  • Proficient in reading and writing legibly.
  • Ability to analyze orders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to direct and interact with employees.
  • Solid understanding of mathematics for inventory management.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills
  • Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on achieving the collective goals.
  • Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization. 

  

Pay: $75k - $93k, depending on experience.
