Quality Inspector
What would you do as our Receiving & Final Inspector?
In this role, you will ensure all incoming and outgoing hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware meet strict quality standards. You will inspect products, verify specifications, and support production teams to ensure only compliant, high-quality products are delivered to customers.
You would also:
• Inspect incoming materials and perform final product inspections
• Verify measurements, specifications, and workmanship quality
• Ensure accuracy of orders, part numbers, and customer requirements
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
• Support production teams with quality expertise
• Identify defects, initiate NCRs, and assist with root cause analysis
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and quality initiatives
The Skills and Experience You Need:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with computers and basic software tools
Preferred:
• Experience in hollow metal, doors, or building materials industry
• Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement concepts
PAY: $27-$32/hour, depending on experience.
