Order Entry / Pricing Coordinator

The ASSA ABLOY Southwest Service Center is a manufacturer of steel doors and frames for the commercial and industrial markets. We are growing and we need your help to support that growth! Our facility based in Ontario, California is looking to add motivated individuals who enjoy performing various order entry tasks to help the operation run smoothly.



As the Order Entry/ Pricing associate, you will be responsible for managing and pricing the inbound orders by assessing and assigning to Customer Service to ensure timely routing within the Southwest Service Center.

You will work very closely with all internal teams and customers to ensure accurate order flow throughout the facility. Ensuring accurate pricing, assignments, and communicating regularly with Customer Service, Customers, and Sales. Developing strong relationships that generate future growth and continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the routing and pricing of all orders to be processed internally and at intercompany sites
  • Triage of incoming orders and assignment of program types based on the content of the orders
  • Review incoming orders for missing information and reaching out to Customers and Sales to obtain the information needed to process the order
  • Continuous coordination and interaction with all support departments ensuring Triage has current information regarding programs and lead times
  • Participation in daily/ weekly meetings and advising management of large incoming projects
  • Regular review of persistent issues with incoming orders and recommendations for training and assistance to improve incoming order accuracy
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 



  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college desired
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to technical order management
  • Experience with Warehouse Management or ERP systems
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience working successfully in a B2B environment
  • Experience working closely with management and being comfortable to provide recommendations and assisting with implementing new procedures
  • Manufacturing and/or building material products knowledge desired


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities



Language Ability

Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.  Good communication skills both written and verbal.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of people. 

Mathematical Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must know, understand and utilize basic mathematical formulas. 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to solve practical problems.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email and order processing software; Knowledge of ERP systems and processes.

Other Skills

Excellent written/oral communication, organizational and technical service skills. Ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment.
