We are growing, and there has never been a more exciting time to join us! We are currently recruiting a Logistics Supervisor for our Ontario, CA location.

 

What would you do as our Logistics Supervisor?

As a key leader at our Southwest Service Center, you’ll oversee all logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory control, and on-time, in-full shipments. You’ll lead a team of warehouse team members, drive continuous improvement, and champion a safety-first culture.

You will also:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory put-away, order picking, staging, and outbound shipping.
  • Route materials to internal departments such as production, welding, modification, paint, and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment using 5S and lean principles.
  • Monitor and maintain an Order Fill Rate (OFR) above 95%.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including cross-docking, 3PL management, and carrier scheduling.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipments and deliveries.
  • Monitor freight costs, delivery performance, and shipment accuracy.
  • Resolve transportation issues such as delays, damage claims, and system discrepancies.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules, will-call availability, shipment status, and any delays or issues. Ensure timely and professional responses via phone, email, or other communication platforms.
  • Analyze logistics data to support forecasting and planning.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff.
  • Support cross-training and onboarding efforts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for warehouse and logistics functions.
  • Ensure packaging standards and shipping documentation meet requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Drive process improvements for efficiency, quality, and cost control.
  • Champion safety through daily Gemba walks, coaching, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE standards.
  • Monitor safety metrics and incident reports.
  • Engage team members in hazard identification and prevention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

The Skills and Experience You Need:

  • 5+ years of recent experience in logistics, 3PL, and warehouse leadership within manufacturing or distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-docking, shipping standards, packaging, and inventory control.
  • Proven ability to track and improve KPIs such as order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics.
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with WMS and TMS systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

 

PAY: $70,000–$90,000 Annually, depending on experience.
