What would you do as our Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager within the Global Solutions division, you will have the opportunity to lead Traka’s growth in the UK healthcare sector. This role is pivotal in expanding Traka’s footprint across NHS and private healthcare organizations by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique challenges of healthcare environments.

 

You would also:

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan specifically for the healthcare sector, targeting NHS Trusts, private hospitals, and healthcare networks.

• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including RFP responses and contract negotiations, while maintaining accurate CRM records and providing regular sales forecasts

• Promotie Traka’s intelligent key and asset management solutions—such as electronic key cabinets, smart lockers, and medication distribution systems—tailored to healthcare needs.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, marketing, product) to customize solutions and ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

• Represent Traka at healthcare industry events and staying up to date on relevant regulations, procurement frameworks, and digital transformation trends.

 

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:

• A proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the healthcare sector and with strong knowledge of NHS procurement processes and private healthcare operations.

• An excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clinical, operational, and procurement stakeholders.

• Self-motivation and target-drive, is capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of performance.

• Experience with access control, security, or asset management technologies is desirable and adds value to the role.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays and occasional international travel.
