What would you do as our Product Specialist (EMS)

As our Product Specialist within the Product Management team, your mission would be to support the regional Commercial teams, enhancing their product knowledge and supporting them on the right questions to ask of prospects so that we can accurately specify and deliver a solution that meets their needs.

You would become a subject matter expert for Equipment Management Solutions. You would develop a deep understanding of our intelligent locker solutions - technically, commercially and from an end user perspective. You would be assisting the Product Manager (EMS) in managing critical customer projects from concept right through to delivery, unblocking any areas of challenges and proactively helping manage customer expectations via the Commercial teams.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Support and Training - Assisting the Product Manager (EMS) in improving regional teams' self-reliance in managing intelligent locker solution projects
  • Tools and Guides Development – Helping to create and refine tools that simplify project specification and pricing
  • Proposal Management - Supporting critical locker proposal from solution design to Purchase Order, resolving challenges and ensuring customer communication
  • Collaboration - Working closely with R&D, sales, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of bespoke customer orders
  • Market Intelligence and Customer Insights - Attending meetings and industry events to gather and share customer feedback, market intelligence, and contribute to product strategy

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Solid experience working in a B2B-technology solution space, ideally in a sales, pre-sales or a product specialist role in the provision of electronic solutions (i.e., combining both hardware and software requirements)
  • Confidence with the ability to develop effective working relationships at a variety of levels and a customer-focused mindset
  • Organisational and analytical skills as well as skills in asking the right questions to solicit key requirements about functional as well as non-functional aspects (performance, user experience, flow)
  • Proven balance of commercial and technical prowess with a keen ability to assess the priority, urgency and importance of issues or challenges.
  • Active listening skills, with outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Beneficial skills include experience in the equipment/asset management solutions space, proficiency with Jira and Confluence, and strong negotiation and partner management abilities. Project management expertise is highly advantageous, particularly in solutions involving both hardware and software components.
