About the Role
You’ll lead infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology projects across our Pacific North-East Asia (PNEA) division, with responsibility from discovery and planning through testing, implementation and operational handover. Your projects may span network and micro-segmentation, infrastructure, cloud environments, data migration, identity and access, and broader cybersecurity initiatives. Working with business leaders, technical specialists and technology partners across PNEA and the wider ASSA ABLOY organisation, you’ll understand technical dependencies and keep delivery moving. You’ll stay close to the detail to challenge gaps and work through issues, while communicating progress, risks and key decisions effectively at divisional level.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Lead infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology projects from discovery and planning through implementation, transition and handover.
- Drive infrastructure and network security initiatives, including segmentation, access controls, technical readiness and implementation.
- Coordinate data migration activities across legacy, cloud and enterprise environments, including testing, validation and cutover.
- Assess technical environments, configurations, dependencies and operational readiness, working with specialists to identify and address gaps.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, governance and reporting to support effective delivery.
- Influence business leaders, technical specialists and technology partners across divisions and locations, communicating progress, risks and key decisions at divisional level.
About You
You’re an experienced technology professional who combines strong infrastructure knowledge with project leadership. You understand how enterprise technology environments fit together and enjoy staying close to delivery, with the technical confidence to work across servers, networks, cloud, identity and access, security controls and system dependencies. You’re comfortable getting into the detail, challenging gaps and working through issues with specialists, while influencing stakeholders across the organisation and translating technical complexity into clear actions and decisions.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience delivering complex IT infrastructure or technology projects through implementation and operational handover.
- Practical infrastructure knowledge across servers, networking, cloud platforms, identity and access, storage and backup.
- Experience across cybersecurity, data migration, infrastructure or network-related initiatives.
- The technical confidence to understand configurations, system dependencies and implementation issues, and challenge gaps with specialists.
- Strong project management capability across scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and governance, supported by a recognised certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent formal project management accreditation.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently, take ownership and drive actions across technical, business and senior stakeholders.
Experience working across regional, international or geographically dispersed technology environments will be highly regarded. ITIL or relevant infrastructure, cloud, networking or security certifications will also be valued.

This is an onsite role based at our Oakleigh site, with the position ordinarily working Monday to Friday.
