HR Specialist

ASSA ABLOY Australia is seeking a hands on and dynamic HR Specialist who is keen to balance day to day operational execution and support long term business success through People initiatives. You will report into the HR Business Partner, ensuring our people across the business excel in the best way possible.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Providing managers with day-to-day HR support including performance, conduct, and attendance, with escalation through the HR Business Partner where required.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding towards a great experience
• Coordinating and delivering learning and providing support for training initiatives
• Maintaining people related data and reporting requirements
• Implementing employee engagement and welfare initiatives
• Proactively engaging with managers for solutions to the long-term success of our teams

What we are looking for

• Relevant experience within Human Resources
• Developing your business partnering skills by providing true HR generalist support
• Energy to succeed and be passionate about people and the employee experience
• Ready to learn, grow, and take on new challenges whilst sharing success
• Self-motivator with exceptional organisational skills and a high degree of drive 
• Ability to convey information to a diverse range of people in a positive manner
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills 
• Analytical and numeracy skills coupled with strong attention to detail
• Able to display initiative and work independently or as a member of a team
• Well-developed computer skills and ability to operate Success Factors or similar
