Creative Designer

Creative Designer (12-Month Contract)

Melbourne | In-house Marketing Team

We’re looking for a hands-on Creative Designer to support a major packaging transformation program across multiple brands and product lines.

This is not your typical campaign-heavy design role. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-volume, detail-driven packaging updates, ensuring every SKU is accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.

If you enjoy structured design work, working at pace, and seeing your work come to life in physical products — this role will suit you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Execute end-to-end packaging updates across multiple product ranges
  • Adapt designs into new packaging formats aligned with updated brand guidelines
  • Prepare print-ready artwork and manage production specifications
  • Handle high-volume artwork updates with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and external suppliers
  • Track project timelines and flag risks early
  • Maintain consistency across brands and packaging systems
  • Support broader marketing design work when capacity allows

What Success Looks Like

  • Packaging updates delivered accurately and on time across all assigned SKUs
  • Strong attention to detail with minimal rework or errors
  • Clear ownership of workflow across multiple concurrent projects
  • Consistent application of brand guidelines across all outputs

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a Creative or Graphic Designer role (ideally in product-based environments)
  • Strong background in packaging design and artwork production
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience preparing files for print and working with suppliers
  • Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work
  • Highly organised with strong time management

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to compliance and labelling requirements
  • Experience working across multiple brands or large SKU ranges
  • Motion or animation skills (bonus, not essential)
