About The Role

What you will be doing
In this newly created role, you will play a critical part in our strategic growth ambitions. Forge strong relationships with OEM customers, becoming a trusted partner in their product development pipeline. Leverage your mechanical or product design expertise to solve problems and deliver tailored solutions from our extensive product range, driving innovation and success.
This highly customer-facing role involves close collaboration with Sales and Business Development team members, supported by our established Product Management and Product Development teams to ensure new customised solutions are delivered to specification and on time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Build and nurture relationships with OEM customers, especially with their technical and new product development teams
• Provide high-level product support ensuring seamless integration into OEM product development processes
• Develop concepts for customised OEM solutions
• Work closely with OEM customers and internal cross-functional teams to prototype, design, validate and deliver concepts to market on time
• Collaborate with Product Management and OEM customers on product roadmaps to ensure our product platforms remain current for future applications and configurations
• Ensure project deliverables are captured via our established new product development process
• Provide quick technical support, including CAD modelling, to fit our solutions into OEM products
• Drive business growth through strategic partnerships

Key requirements:
• Background in mechanical or product design engineering, ideally with experience in SolidWorks
• Strong business development skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Team player ready to join in our established development process and innovative culture
• Customer responsiveness
