Internal Sales Coordinator - Northwich

 

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Internal Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team in Northwich. This role plays a critical part in managing inbound sales enquiries and supporting the end-to-end sales process, acting as a key link between customers, sales surveyors and senior management.

 

You’ll be responsible for ensuring enquiries are processed accurately, surveys are efficiently allocated, quotations are issued and followed up, and sales activity is tracked against forecasts. This is a busy, varied role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, customer interaction and keeping sales processes running smoothly.

 

Key responsibilities

Sales enquiries & job processing

  • Act as the first point of contact for inbound sales enquiries by phone, email and other channels
  • Log and manage enquiries accurately using the Job Logic / CRM system
  • Assess and prioritise enquiries to ensure correct qualification
  • Allocate jobs to the appropriate Sales Surveyors based on capacity, location and skill set

Surveyor coordination

  • Support the planning and scheduling of Sales Surveyors’ workloads
  • Monitor survey progress and proactively highlight capacity or scheduling issues
  • Act as a central coordination point between surveyors and operational teams

Quotation support & customer liaison

  • Support the preparation and issuing of quotations following surveys
  • Respond to customer queries and provide clarification as required
  • Proactively follow up outstanding quotations to progress opportunities
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service throughout the sales journey

Sales reporting & performance

  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, surveys, quotations and outcomes
  • Produce regular sales and pipeline reports for senior management
  • Track conversion rates, forecast performance and surveyor utilisation
  • Highlight risks and opportunities against sales targets

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in an internal sales, sales support, estimating or commercial administration role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ideally, experience supporting field-based sales surveyors or engineers
  • Experience in a quoting, estimating or survey-based sales environment is advantageous
