- By joining our team, you will be part of the Service department. This department ensures that our systems at customer sites are operational and running smoothly, enabling uninterrupted production. Through regular on-site maintenance, swift defect resolution, and dependable remote support, the team guarantees continuous reliability of our systems for our customers.
Primary Duties
- Leading the European Field Service Engineering team (8-10 direct reports) and taking care of employee development including external and internal training;
- Ensuring the correct composition of the team and monitoring work quality and quantity of the Field Service Engineers;
- Creating the maintenance planning to fulfil contractual agreements;
- Promoting a customer-oriented attitude and ambassadorial function of the Field Service Engineers;
- Being responsible for the P&L of the European Service team and translating long-term plans into operational actions.
- Initiating improvement processes and taking measurements to solve problems related to quality, response time and maintenance methods;
- Ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance takes place according to defined standards and working methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical studies;
- Minimum of 5-10 years working experience within Field Service Engineering;
- Strong communicational and organizational skills;
- Experience with international customers and preferably with leading a Field Service team;
- Excellent written and spoken English is required, Dutch and additional languages are a plus;
- Since this position includes (international) travel and fieldwork, you must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
Work Requirements
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
