We have an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive to join the Marketing team at Lorient, Commercial Segment reporting to the Head of Marketing – Lorient.

Lorient is a market-leading brand specialising in high-performance door sealing systems, designed to protect life and property across commercial, industrial, and public buildings. Backed by over 45 years of expertise, it is internationally recognised for manufacturing high-quality fire, smoke, acoustic, and thermal containment solutions.

 

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver integrated marketing activities that elevate brand awareness, drive lead generation and commercial impact; while positioning Lorient as a leading technical authority in the market.

 

Key responsibilities and duties are:

 

Content Creation

  • Develop high-quality marketing materials including brochures, product data sheets, presentations, website content, and campaign assets
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging customerfocused content such as blogs and white papers
  • Produce photographic and video content to enhance marketing materials
  • Working closely with internal teams to develop campaign messaging and support product launch content
  • Produce print ready artwork and liaise with printers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure accurate delivery

 

Social Media & Digital Marketing

 

  • Manage and grow company social media channels
  • Plan, create, and schedule content that increases engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth
  • Manage website updates through the CMS and proactively recommend enhancements
  • Monitor performance using analytics tools and optimise content based on insights
  • Support the design and delivery of email marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote projects, news, and industry insights
  • Use a range of marketing platforms and tools, including CRM systems, analytics dashboards (Matomo), content creation software (Canva), and social media management tools

 

Events & Marketing Support

 

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of industry events, exhibitions, and fire safety days at Lorient
  • Create supporting marketing materials for events including presentations, banners, and digital promotions
  • Support event logistics, promotion, and post-event content

 

Other duties

 

  • Oversee the organisation and development of company demonstration models and sample packs
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategic recommendations
    Provide marketing support to key internal stakeholders across Sales, Production, HR, Technical, and Product Management

 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Degree in Marketing / Graphic Design or similar CIM qualification
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience in a marketing or creative role in a B2B environment
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) are essential
  • Basic–intermediate knowledge of motion/animation tools (e.g., After Effects or Premier Pro)
  • Experience leading end-to-end marketing campaigns, from planning and execution to performance analysis and optimization
