What you will be doing: 

 

The Door Security Solutions Finance and Accounting team is seeking a results-oriented accounting professional. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional accountant to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and highly professional organization. This position is responsible for general accounting which includes journal entries and ad hoc financial reporting.

 

Key areas you will contribute to the role include:

 

  • Master data management.
  • General accounting which includes journal entries and ad hoc financial reporting.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Performing ad hoc database queries and financial analysis for management reporting.
  • Workflow & routing maintenance of payables portal.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • You are a resourceful individual with strong analytical skills.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and known for follow-up habits.
  • You have excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.

 

Education and/or experience:

 

  • Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: accounting or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of related work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and Access). Excellent Excel skills including vlookup, charts, pivot tables, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP & Data Warehouse Applications a plus.

Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs.
