This position will sit onsite full-time New Haven, CT.
What will you be doing?
Your role will involve Designing, developing, and deploying new automated test plans and fixtures for intricate embedded products, and ensuring sustainability of complex legacy design projects. You will directly drive evolution of our in-circuit and functional test fixtures for a new and exciting product portfolio. You will be involved with:
- Creating robust test solutions for manufacturing test as part of new product development teams, including hardware & fixture firmware
- Advancing test development efficiency, scaling and platforming for an upcoming product portfolio driving critical incremental market growth
- Leadership of setting the foundation for the initial MVP product of the new portfolio and setting the direction for future product test requirements
- Spearheading development of product functional test solutions and complex product configurations, which will be deployed across global manufacturing locations
- Sustaining complex existing legacy test projects and driving new requirement excellence into currently in-use legacy systems.
- Using Data Analytics to identify issues, investigate, and then implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and test integrity.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience architecting test solutions for new product development
- Knowledge of lab instrumentation use
- Hands on skills
- Experience developing Test solutions for complex products
- Experience with PCB manufacturing test processes
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial design and testing tools such as SolidWorks, Altium, LabVIEW, Visual Studio and/or Test Stand.
- Must have 4-7 years of experience in hardware testing.
- Familiarity with development tools such as SVN, GIT, Agile and JIRA.
- Knowledge of Arduino, Flash Programming, BLE, IEEE488, RFID, Wifi USB and/or serial communications.
- Familiarity with test of RFID, WIFI, Electromechanical, and / or battery powered embedded products
