As a Salesforce Product Owner/Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the platform. You will bring your technical expertise to scale digital solutions, email marketing campaigns, and data integration. We’re seeking a strong collaborator, who will work closely with IT, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that the platform is leveraged to its optimal capabilities.

 

This position will sit in your choice of either our New Haven or Berlin, CT office full-time onsite reporting to the Digital Business Director.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Platform Optimization: Analyze and enhance the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform to meet business requirements effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on support for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) implementations, including integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms.
  • Marketing Operations: Collaborate with marketing teams to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance campaign execution.
  • Data Integration: Facilitate seamless data flow between Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and other systems.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) functionalities and troubleshoot issues.
  • Training and Support: Train end-users and provide ongoing support for SFMC-related queries.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing changes related to SFMC enhancements and upgrades.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, or another related field is required.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Marketing Cloud implementations, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms.
  • Proficiency in data models, Salesforce integration, and familiarity with up to 6 different programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and practices.
  • Should be comfortable manipulating data using MS Excel- v-lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
  • 0-10% domestic travel on occasion.

 

Preferred Skills

 

  • 5-7+ years of Business Analyst experience preferred.​​​​​​
  • Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Comfortable communicating with clients and handling objections professionally.
  • Project Management: Grasp of project management principles.
  • Change Management: Understanding of change management processes
  • Certified as a Marketing Cloud Consultant.
