ASSA ABLOY is seeking a highly organized Sales Samples Coordinator to join our Access Egress Hardware Group (AEHG). You will oversee the management of our samples program, ensuring the accurate and timely provision of product samples to support our sales, tradeshow, and event initiatives. This includes showrooms and mobile training vehicles. You will lead cross-enterprise and customer-specific programs, including the launch of new product kits, finish folios, individual lever samples, and more.

The position will sit onsite full-time in Berlin, CT, and will report to the Director of Product Management and Mechanical AEHG Americas.

 

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, brand marketing, product management, and sales teams to develop and produce effective sales sample kits.
  • Supervise and manage the Sales Sample Installation Specialist, ensuring efficient and accurate installation of product samples at various sales locations and events.
  • Generate purchase order requisitions: assemble, package, and ship samples while overseeing inventory levels for replacement stock.
  • Establish efficient processes and identify resources for product sample fulfillment.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive catalogue of kitted sales samples and finish folios, ensuring timely communication to sales organizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the distribution of samples across the United States and Canada.
  • Keep the sales team informed regarding sample availability and ordering processes.
  • Provide clear instructions for procuring samples and product mounts.

 

What we are looking for

  • Associate's or Technical Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of diverse office experience.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with visual project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in MSFT Office Suite: MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A discerning eye for product quality and finishes, ensuring the delivery of professional-grade samples.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
