The Access Egress Hardware Team is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Firmware Intern to support our automation journey! This role will leverage a recent graduate the opportunity to dive into enhancing our testing practices while collaborating with development and QA Teams. We’re excited to be adding a QA Automation Intern to our growing team! This is an engaging and challenging opportunity that plays an intricate role in shaping the development of our new and existing product lines.

This position will sit onsite in New Haven, CT reporting to our DevOps Lead.

What you will be doing 

• Elevate our Centrios platform excellence by spearheading the enhancement of its quality and resilience to ensure our users receive top-tier experience. 
• Be at the forefront of innovation as you test and bring to life exciting new Firmware platform features that will shape the future of our technical direction. 
• Utilize Python to create cutting-edge automatic tests that streamline processes and boost efficiency.
• Research and enhance our testing strategy, driving a culture of continuous improvement that elevates the quality of our platform.

What we are looking for

• Experience using Python and/or Python based test Frameworks.
• Understand the basics around testing or different levels of testing.
• Experienced writing automation tests involving hardware components.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
