This is an engaging and challenging opportunity that plays an intricate role in shaping the development of our upcoming August and Yale products. We are looking for a consumer-driven and passionate marketer who wants to live on the cutting edge of technologies that bring software and hardware together, within the connected home.


We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support our efforts in building world-class mobile solutions for our direct-to-consumer products, as well as our business partners. You will be the marketing voice for our product portfolio and will focus on representing our products in a way that best resonates with our audiences.



  • Launch products in retail and pro markets by developing product messaging, digital assets, and sales support materials
  • Assist in all Go-To-Market planning, strategy, and execution for new product launches, working with all key players such as Product Management, Design, Sales, Engineering, and Operations
  • Support Pro/Multi-Family sales team by creating content, with the design team, for all external marketing materials, including product brochures, spec sheets, webinars, and presentations
  • Manage regional sales tradeshows, ranging from ten to fifteen conferences and events annually
  • Organize show logistics to guarantee successful events, including private meetings, booth designs, registrations, promotional materials, and working the show floor at national tradeshows including the Consumer Electronics Show (CES)
  • Manage and maintain PIM tool (Salsify) with updated marketing messaging, materials, photography, and video content
  • Work with Channel Marketing Manager to ensure accurate product representation throughout retailers including Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Best Buy, Apple, and Amazon



  • Become a product knowledge expert for all Smart Residential (Yale and August) products
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure proper representation of products throughout channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into product benefits across audiences and use cases
  • Highly skilled at building differentiated product messaging and positioning
  • Previous experience launching consumer products
  • Excellent presentation skills to present during team meetings and events
  • Have a natural curiosity to always learn more
  • Results-oriented with a positive "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to get things done



  • 4+ years of product marketing experience
  • Consumer product experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Adobe products is a plus
