Our Americas’ division is headquartered in New Haven, CT and is seeking a Manager, Learning and Development. This newly created role will design and deliver learning strategy and solutions that support the Company’s strategy, values and goals.


You will collaborate with key stakeholders to provide employees with the necessary tools and information required to succeed in their roles and career development. 


What you will be doing


In this influential role, you will be at the forefront of planning, designing, structuring and implementing the divisional L&D strategy. This includes assessment of existing development opportunities as well as creating new programs. You will be at the forefront of launching the division’s first rotational management program that exposes selected candidates to our end-to-end operations processes. The Americas division has operations throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia, so the footprint of the program will be expansive.


As an L&D leader, you will provide counsel, insight and coaching to peers, colleagues and other leaders. You will be responsible for leading all activities related to the execution of learning programs, from needs analysis through design, development and delivery of learning experiences across a variety of roles and stages of the employee life cycle.  You will manage and partner with external vendors to ensure content of training matches strategy and that learnings align with business need, including delivery methodology.


You will leverage the deployment of the SuccessFactors learning management system to assist with access to training on demand. You will be tasked with identifying on demand trainings in LinkedIn Learning and other vendors.


What we are looking for

This role will have tremendous exposure and reach, and will work closely with our senior leadership teams and the HR community.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years’ Human Resources experience. At least 6+ years’ should be with a domain expertise leading learning and development programs in-house. Proven experience in core learning theories, frameworks, and assessments are highly desired. You need to possess solid problem solving, time management, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail.


While the team is working remote now, ultimately this role will be located in our New Haven, CT office.
