Inventory Analyst – Access & Egress Hardware Group

The Access & Egress Hardware Group, based in New Haven, CT is a market leader in locksets, high security key systems, door closers, exit devices, electro-mechanical products, and access control systems for new construction, renovation, and replacement applications. The company's customer base includes commercial construction, institutional and industrial markets. Included in our product offerings are windstorm certified locks, hardwired and wireless access control devices, designer levers and an antimicrobial hardware coating.
What you will be doing:
- Our Inventory Analyst will focus on AEHG inventory with initial focus on Aged Inventory at each of our locations.
- Working with the supply chain team, control inventories of raw materials, components and finished goods inventory to assure we have the correct inventory levels of the items needed to meet customer demand.
- Interact and coordinate inventory strategies with the Buyer Planners at each of our sites.
- Use data analytic analytics around our inventory strategy, identifying where the aged inventory coming from, what is causing it and responding to each location with corrective action recommendations
- Using our data tools and JDE, perform research on a wide variety of inventory related data and provide recommendation to Supply Chain and Site management.
- Meeting with each location, mostly virtual, to discuss issues, research results and discussion of inventory strategy.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Strong data analytic skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with JDE is a plus
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
