The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is a collaborative position that plays a key role in the success of the Identification Technologies (IDT) North America Fulfilment Operations. Our 5000 sq. ft. facility is the fulfilment center for 4 US-based Business units, providing inventory receipt and storage, order fulfilment and Return Material management. The individual selected for this role will lead a small team of shipping, receiving and IQC specialists to meet Warehouse and Shipping operational metrics, monitor employees’ performance, support production and warehouse activities that encompass planning, efficiency, process improvements, inventory control and business critical projects.

As our Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Overseeing the overall safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance of the warehouse operations in support of business groups located in multiple time zones.
  • Communicating with cross functional groups such as Trade/Compliance to ensure operations follow corporate/regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring and maintaining employee performance and accountability by assisting employees via coaching, mentoring, performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reviewing performance metrics and providing root cause, corrective action for missed targets.
  • Communicating product or material issues with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Preparing and submitting reports to management as required
  • Monitoring and managing incoming deliveries (domestic and imports), communicate with Carriers as needed to ensure timely delivery of product

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required. Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related warehouse, logistics and/or manufacturing leadership experience required.
  • Must have the ability to perform mathematical operations and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Agile platforms.     
  • Working knowledge of UPS & FedEx shipping software is preferred.
  • Must be able to move and transport tools, machinery parts and other objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to ascend/descend with a ladder to store products.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
