HID Global is looking for a Shipping & Recieving Coordinator to join our Logistics Team based in Nazareth, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory control, shipping/receiving, and all aspects of warehouse functions for HID. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, shipping, receiving, processing, storing, staging, picking, packaging, coordinating domestic and international shipments, and completing physical inventories.

As our Shipping & Recieving Coordinator, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Managing daily shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities, including:
    • Receiving materials and verifying them against purchase orders
    • Preparing daily shipping and package documentation while maintaining 100% accuracy in completeness, correctness, and timeliness
    • Performing cycle counts and updating management on inventory levels
    • Reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and pulling products for fulfillment
    • Moving stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas
    • Communicating daily with Customer Service and Project Management teams to reviewing customer orders and shipments
    • Examining incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and reporting/recording discrepancies
  • Ensuring the highest levels of accuracy in ERP systems (QuickBooks or Oracle) and shipping software transactions
  • Supporting organizational culture and capability development to improving product flow, quality, on-time delivery, and labor efficiencies in manufacturing processes
  • Participating in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities as required
  • Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards
  • Acting as liaison with key freight carriers
  • Addressing and resolving safety issues

 

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge and background in shipping/receiving and inventory management.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (QuickBooks or Oracle). 
  • Must possess the ability to work at an efficient pace with very high attention to detail.
  • Familiar with Trade compliance policies for international shipments strongly preferred, with knowledge of exporting procedures and required documentation.
  • Proficient with shipping and receiving software such as Fedex Manager, UPS WorldShip, DHL or any other carrier or Freight Forwarder.
  • Dangerous good certification a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, verbally and in writing.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The base salary in the United States is $17.00 to $20.00 a hour.
