The Assembly Technician III is a mid-level position in our RFID Tag Assembly department. The primary function is running the production pick and place equipment to place electrical components (semiconductors, capacitors, etc.) on our PCB RFID tags. The position requires general computer knowledge and an aptitude for basic process troubleshooting. As an ISO9001 certified facility, adherence to procedures and proper documentation is required.

As our Assembly Technician III, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Setting-up and operating a variety of pick and place equipment
  • Troubleshooting basic production issues as they arise
  • Understanding and following Bill of Materials
  • Performing in process inspections and make adjustments as necessary
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc
