Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…
As the Business Development Manager for the TRAKA Global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to build a career you can be proud of while helping us continue to create a safe, secure and more open world. As India demonstrates highest growth, as part of Traka India you will be on a high growth trajectory.
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be ideally based out of Mumbai, responsible for driving revenue growth and building TRAKA’s market position in the Indian Hospitality and Healthcare segment. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, re-engaging existing and former customers, and expanding the installed base through articulating the solution value.
What you will do…
- Acquire new customers in the hospitality & healthcare markets in India.
- Develop a Go-To-Market strategy for selling into large luxury hotel and hospital group ownership companies keeping individual properties and their processes in sight.
- Carry and deliver against a defined revenue target.
- Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and commercial offers in alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Represent Traka at relevant industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Understand customer needs based on operations, processes and access ecosystems.
- Navigate complex buying centres (Management, Operations, IT, Finance, Ownership) and manage stakeholder alignment.
- Support strategic or high-priority projects and events
- Work closely with access control providers, LP & security teams, resellers and customers driving opportunities.
- Follow TRAKA reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Provide continual market, customer and competitor feedback to management
What we expect of you…
- A graduate program in Hospitality or Hotel Management
- Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Sales experience in the Hospitality or Healthcare Industry
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and decision markers.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-starter, results-driven and execution-focused.
- Strong customer orientation and excellent communication & articulation skills.
- Structured, analytical, and reliable working style.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Target and performance orientation.
- Confident and proactive, excellent liaison skills.
- Team oriented combined with distinct assertiveness.
Languages and travel:
- Fluent in English and Hindi. Any other additional Indian languages are a plus.
- Open to travel within India and abroad as required.
