Sr. Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee cost accounting processes and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Provide financial insights to management for operational and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
