Position Summary

As the Zonal Manager, Commercial (West), you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a specific geographical region. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and expand the market presence. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to enhance the company's overall commercial business performance.

The Position requires know how of complete building material industry sales cycle and especially B2B business process.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build a Strong pipeline of projects in the commercial sector by reaching out to Project owners, developers, & architects
  • Work Closely with Door OEM’s / Contractors
  • Build relationships with end customers like Developers, Architects etc, ensure timely follow up and review the projects pipeline
  • Should able to proactively react to market trends for next 3 years and identify the future products needs of Indian Market
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure that the product offering is aligned with the needs of the market and also identify further opportunities for product development and innovation
  • Focus on the conversion of quotations to Purchase Order
  • Prepare and present various business reports such as Sales forecast for the segment on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis, as required
  • Work with the other internal teams such as Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing and Specifications, to engage customers on various platforms.

 

 

Skills Required:

  • In depth know how of Building material Industry.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Should be strong on OEM Sales, Institutional sales, Government Sales, Corporate Sales etc. and other B2B roles.
  • Strong drive to deliver high growth.
  • Both Strategic Thinker and Implementer
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint with good analytical skills
  • Ability to make effective conversations with project owners / Façade Consultants / Developers, Large System Companies, etc.
  • Ability to travel extensively within West India

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Graduate Engineers; Specialization in Civil/Mechanical stream.
  • MBA in Sales and Marketing from Tier 1 Institute.
  • Relevant experience of 15+ years within the Building Material Industry.
