Talent Acquisition Specialist
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, the world’s largest manufacturer of automated doors, high performance doors, residential doors and dock systems is seeking candidates for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Pedestrian Door Solutions Business Area. This position will be based in Monroe, NC.
This position will be responsible for supporting Talent Acquisition for the U.S. and Canada. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Talent Acquisition with a primary focus on Service and Installation Technicians as well as Supply Chain recruitment. Additionally, you will partner with HR to support the pre-employment process, onboarding of new employees and HRIS Management. This position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems North America, Pedestrian Door Solutions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Support recruitment of Service and Installation Technicians for all US and Canada markets using various online methods.
- Work with managers to identify key skills and experience needed to fill their positions and identify staffing needs.
- Focus on diversity and inclusion recruiting initiatives.
- Post jobs ads to job boards, manage postings and review resumes.
- Conduct phone and Teams screens and schedule interviews for hiring managers.
- Assist in job offers and salary negotiations.
- Learn and maneuver within the company’s HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) and assist managers and employees with navigating the system relative to creating job requisitions, job postings, compliance trainings, etc.
- Understand strategic hiring initiatives and business goals.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Talent Acquisition experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills, and the ability to quickly adapt.
- Exposure to skilled labor and manufacturing Talent Acquisition, Onboarding activities and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience with various recruitment tools such as resume databases, professional networks and social media.
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or service-based, blue collar industry is helpful.
- Ability to build strong relationships on all levels and in all cultures.
- High level of accountability and ownership.
- Highly-organized approach to work and ability to understand a multitude of positions and job functions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Proven computer abilities; Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. ADP and SAP SuccessFactors a plus.
