Finance Intern - M&A
As an M&A Intern at ASSA ABLOY, you will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of mergers and acquisitions. You will assist our M&A team in various stages of the deal-making process, from research and analysis to due diligence. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your analytical skills, and contribute to real-time projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets and industry trends.
- Approach and prescreen potential M&A targets.
- Support due diligence efforts by gathering and analyzing data from various sources.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate deal execution.
- Attend meetings and take detailed notes to summarize discussions and action items.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the M&A team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in finance, investment banking, or consulting is preferred but not required.
