Customer Service Rep
Position Description
This position will support the Service Parts Manager and be involved in customer service requests, phone contact with customers, daily monitoring of e-mails and voice mail communications for incoming service parts requests.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring Service Parts mail accounts
- Entering and updating orders in BAAN and Mobe
- Processing warranty claims and issuing credits
- Assisting customers with order status and tracking information
- Communicating via email and phone with internal and external customers
- Managing relationships with assigned customers & vendors
- Moving order paperwork to the Fulfillment team
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
This position requires the following essential knowledge, skills and abilities in order to satisfactorily fulfill the Customer Service Specialist:
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional manner and team player
- Proficiently and accurately enter and maintain orders in ERP system
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in a customer service department
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Reliable and well-disciplined; ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
Work Environment
Office setting, environment is climate controlled.
